Water's Edge began as a dream of one of its founding members, Tim Blanchard, who wanted to create a group that would appeal to both Christian and secular audiences, young and old alike. With its ongoing emphasis on tight harmonies, fresh arrangements and vocally-produced rhythms, Water's Edge is becoming the "go to" acappella vocal band in the greater Louisville area.

In August, 2004, Water's Edge was privileged to participate in the annual KFB Gospel Quartet Competition at the Kentucky State Fair.  There were several outstanding groups there.  We were fortunate to be among the finalists, finishing 3rd in the State in this, our first ever appearance in any competitive setting.   It has been since that moment, that Water's Edge has been progressively booked and its music in increasing demand.

In its brief history, Water's Edge has logged over 160 appearances in four states for church groups, community festivals, fairs, weddings and other venues .   We've even had the thrill of providing the music for a 4th of July celebration before 3,000 fans at the baseball stadium where A League of Their Own was filmed.    Our 2008 concert schedule began in Chicago in the Spring and concluded with a number of invitations to provide the music for several events by year's end, including the "Christmas in the Country" celebrations for Southeast Christian Church @ Country Lake Retreat Center.
